Election Day Polling Locations & Time
Saturday, May 1st, 7 am - 7 pm
Rebecca Tribo is a lifelong Humble ISD resident running for the Board of Trustees: Position One. She cares deeply about our community and believes she can represent everyone in our schools.
I spend my days speaking with people from every corner of our district. Professionally, I work with many educators listening to their vision for our district. I have spent years volunteering in schools, holding forums to address specific issues, and gone through the Community Leadership Academy through Humble ISD. I have worked with local pastors through our nonprofit to provide assistance to under-resourced families in our community through times of hardship such as natural disaster and pandemic relief. I have served (and currently still serve) on several local boards, and am familiar with the specific needs of different areas in our school district; from Title One Schools to language programs to Advanced Academics.
I am thrilled to share my TEN initiative with you! TEN stands for Ten Every Night*. I will be calling ten Humble ISD residents every day between February 15th and election day, May 1st. That is 75 days, so I will hopefully get to speak with at least 750 of you about what you think Humble ISD is doing well, where you think we could use improvement, and what you want from a School Board Member. I would love to hear from teachers, parents, faculty, administrators, nurses, and students. Everyone in our district is encouraged to sign-up.
The most basic job of any elected representative is to listen to their constituents and take their ideas, concerns, wants and needs to the floor. I am honored to be running to do this job for my community, and I cannot wait to hear from as many of you as I can! Feel free to share this post with your friends as well.
* - Not all times are night times. There is good amount of morning and afternoon times as well. Please find what works best for you!
